As one of the few MBAs in dentistry, I am available for dental practice management coaching on Thursdays (since I am currently working for my group practice other days). For example, let’s say the office manager and dentist are concerned about filling the schedule. We would talk about the existing approach in the practice and find a way to measure the existing performance. Once the dentist and office manager agree on the problem, then we will develop a new system, implement it throughout the practice and then measure the performance at regular intervals to track our success.
In addition to custom coaching, I also provide a comprehensive dental staff training approach. This online training is available on a subscription basis, and provides not only a clear structure for dental staff training and advancement but also compensation and raises. Each task is written in detail including why the task is important and how to accomplish the task. This is an excellent way for dentists to train their staff against measurable criteria and pay them fairly. These task by task detailed instructions include all significant functions so staff and dentists know exactly what is expected.
